What is quantum blackjack live?
Blackjack with multiplier cards. Playtech called it the industry’s first multiplier-based blackjack game: after betting closes, random cards get multipliers, and a winning hand holding one is paid at that multiple.
Wizard of Odds describes one player hand that an unlimited number of players can bet on, each making their own decisions.
The trade-off is the push on a dealer’s three-card bust, printed on the felt of quantum blackjack live.
Who makes quantum blackjack live?
Playtech. Its release announced Quantum Blackjack network-wide alongside Live Slots, which launched with Buffalo Blitz, and called both industry firsts.
Playtech said the game followed the success of Quantum Roulette, one of its biggest launches that year.
Kevin Kilminster, Playtech’s head of innovation for live casino, expected quantum blackjack live to set the tone for future Quantum releases.
What is Quantum Blackjack Plus?
The current, refined version. Live Casino Comparer calls Plus an enhanced version of the original with subtle changes that make it a little more playable, including a 50x top and three or five multiplier cards each hand.

LeoVegas Canada lists the game as Quantum Blackjack Plus, and gameplay footage shows the Plus logo on the quantum blackjack live set.
How does a round work?
Bet, see the multipliers, play the hand. LeoVegas says there is a 15-second betting period, after which the dealer announces the multipliers and deals.
- Place a main bet and any side bets.
- Betting closes and 3 or 5 Quantum cards are picked with one multiplier value.
- The dealer deals the shared player hand and the dealer’s cards.
- Each player hits, stands, doubles or splits for themselves.
- A win with a Quantum card pays the multiplier.

How long is the betting window?
About 15 seconds. LeoVegas says there is a 15-second period between rounds to place bets, with the chip rack below the timer and the side bets on either side of the main bet.
Gameplay footage shows a “Never miss a round” button that queues your bet for the next betting round.
A Rebet button repeats the last stake in quantum blackjack live.
How can unlimited players share one hand?
Each player sees only their own path. Wizard of Odds says that if some players stand, further cards dealt for others are not shown to them, and Live Casino Comparer says only the cards you chose appear in your interface.
Everyone starts from the same two cards.
Your decisions shape your own hand, even though one physical hand is dealt in quantum blackjack live.
How are the Quantum cards chosen?
By RNG before the deal. Live Casino Comparer says 3 or 5 cards are picked by a random number generator each round, and one multiplier value, x2.5, x3, x5 or x10, applies to all of them.
LeoVegas gives the same four values and card counts.

How do the multipliers pay?
On the whole win, stake included. Live Casino Comparer says a winning hand with a multiplier card is paid at the multiplier, and the stake is not returned on top.
A $10 win with an x5 card returns $50 in total; a normal win returns $20.
Wizard of Odds describes the same “for one” basis: a 3x win on $100 pays $200 plus the $100 stake in quantum blackjack live.
Do multipliers stack?
Yes, by adding in Plus. Live Casino Comparer says two multiplier cards in one hand add up, so 5x plus 5x makes 10x, and only one copy of the same card counts.
Five cards at x10 make the 50x top.
Split hands are the exception, per Live Casino Comparer: each hand can use the same multiplier card in quantum blackjack live.
How often does a hand get a multiplier?
About one hand in three, per Live Casino Comparer’s statistics, which show a multiplier card about once in every 10 cards dealt to the player.
With five chosen cards in a six-deck shoe, 30 of 312 cards match, or 9.62% per card, which fits the one-in-10 figure.
On those odds, a two-card hand holds a multiplier 18.3% of the time, and a three-card hand 26.2%, in quantum blackjack live.
What if only three cards are chosen?
Fewer matches. Three chosen cards make 18 of 312 cards in a six-deck shoe, or 5.77% per card, so a two-card hand holds one 11.2% of the time.
A three-card hand holds one 16.4% of the time.
Rounds with five chosen cards give about two-thirds more matches than rounds with three in quantum blackjack live.
Why does a three-card bust push?
It pays for the multipliers. Live Casino Comparer says the dealer pushes on a three-card bust, which is how the game funds the multipliers, and the felt reads “Player’s hand pushes when dealer busts with 3 cards”.
Your stake comes back, but there is no win.
Live Casino Comparer says a winning hand with a multiplier is the exception: it is paid even on a three-card bust in quantum blackjack live.
How often does the dealer bust with three cards?
About 17.3% of hands. Wizard of Odds puts the average at 17.30% on eight decks, from 0% with an Ace up to 31.92% with a 6 up.

On those hands, a player who stood gets a push instead of a win in quantum blackjack live.
What are the table rules?
Standard blackjack with one change. Live Casino Comparer says all normal rules apply except the three-card bust push, and Wizard of Odds lists a dealer who stands on soft 17 and peeks for blackjack.
LeoVegas says the game uses six decks, and Live Casino Comparer says an auto shuffler reshuffles after every round.
Insurance pays 2:1, per LeoVegas, in quantum blackjack live.
Does card counting work?
No. Live Casino Comparer says an auto shuffler reshuffles the six decks before each new hand, so no count carries over from one round to the next.
Every hand starts from a full shoe of 312 cards.
Live Casino Comparer says the statistics are interesting but no help in predicting outcomes of quantum blackjack live.
What does each hand pay?
1:1 up to 49:1 on a win. LeoVegas lists a winning hand at 1:1 to 49:1, a dealer three-card bust as a push, and insurance at 2:1.
49:1 is a 50x multiplier paid on the “for one” basis.
LeoVegas also lists a blackjack hand at 3 to 58:1 in quantum blackjack live.
What is the RTP?
99.57% for Plus. Live Casino Comparer says the published RTP of Quantum Blackjack Plus is 99.57%, multipliers included, and Wizard of Odds says Playtech claimed 99.47% for the original.
That is a house edge of 0.43%, or 43 cents per $100.
Wizard of Odds says the figure assumes optimal play, whatever that is in quantum blackjack live.
What is the top win?
50x in Plus. Live Casino Comparer says the maximum multiplier is now 50x, and LeoVegas lists a winning hand at up to 49:1.
The original promised up to 1,000x, per Playtech: three cards at x10 multiplied together make 1,000x.
Plus adds multipliers instead of multiplying them, which is why its top is lower in quantum blackjack live.
Does the strategy change?
Live Casino Comparer says stick to basic strategy, since only the three-card bust payout changed, while Wizard of Odds says the multipliers push players to draw more cards: hit and split more, double and stand less.
Wizard of Odds says a full strategy for the game is very hard to work out.
Live Casino Comparer’s main advice is to be consistent in quantum blackjack live.
What does a multiplier do to a close decision?
It raises the value of winning. Live Casino Comparer says an active multiplier can influence play, such as whether to draw on 16 or stand and hope the dealer busts.

What does insurance return?
About 92.6% on six decks. With an Ace showing, 96 of the other 311 cards complete a dealer blackjack, 30.87%, and a 2:1 pay returns three times the stake on those.
That is before counting the player’s own cards.
The main game returns far more, so insurance lowers the value of quantum blackjack live.
What statistics does the game show?
The last 100 dealer hands and the last 100 player cards. Live Casino Comparer says the first shows the spread of dealer totals, and the second shows how often multiplier cards appear.
